A whirlwind of lazy people at home and work can be compared to hydrofoil boat that never touches the water. Productive people exude calm determination. They appear to know where they are going and what they are doing. Their race is always steady, and slow, like a proverbial tortoise that wins the race. It is easy to identify productive and busy people by following these behaviors.
Busy people will take all and any tasks. This is because they want to appear like they have something always do. The tasks are rarely interconnected, and they do not serve a bigger goal. For them, tasks are goals themselves. Productive people are very selective when it comes to choosing goals. They have long-term goals and plans. The choose tasks, which serve such goals and plans.
